IMPORTANT INFORMATION YOU SHOULD READ PRIOR TO BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT WITH US

We are very friendly and willing to work with most dogs here at Dapper Dogs. However, there are a few things that you should know before you bring your dog here for grooming.

Terms and Conditions:-

All prices are for a coat which is in good condition.

If we find heavy matting, or the dog is aggressive/very difficult on the table and the dog takes a lot longer to groom an extra charge will be incurred.

We only de-matt small areas of coat, if your pet has minor matts to detangle. Should your dog's coat be heavily matted or matted to the skin, it will require shaving in that area. If we are unable to discuss this with you/contact you, this may be done without your permission.  Extensive de-matting is a painful, potentially harmful and traumatic experience for your pet and is not in line with our ethical and humane practice. We may suggest your dog attends more regularly to prevent the problem from reoccurring.  Please make sure you have read and understand our section on grooming.  If we can help and advise in any way, we will gladly be of assistance.

All care is taken to ensure the health and well being of your dog.  We are not liable for any pre existing conditions which may surface during grooming

You/the owner agree to inform us if the dog can be aggressive. The owner will be held liable for any injuries received at Dapper Dogs by an aggressive dog.

Cancellation policy - Missed appointments will incur a £10 charge as will cancellations within 24 hours (at our discretion).

At the initial booking/assessment a customer form will be completed with the details of your pet, yourself and your vet.  This information is purely for the use of Dapper Dogs and any information will never be divulged to a third party.

It is your responsibility to inform Dapper Dogs of anything that may be of concern to you regarding your pet's health and well being.

After every grooming session we will ask you to sign that you have collected your dog in good condition. Should you have any concerns about your dog or the groom it has just had then please take the opportunity to raise this at the time of collection.

We have the right to ask you to immediately remove your dog from our care at any time, should the need arise.  There may still be a charge to pay, depending upon the circumstances.
