About us

Hello and welcome to Dapper Dogs

 

Established in 1974 we have many years experience of grooming most breeds.  We have bred our own dogs over the years and are still active in the show ring.

 

All the products we use are of the highest quality and are the same as those we use on our own top winning show dogs.  Our products come from a company renowned for it's excellence in all aspects of dog grooming.

 

During the grooming process we will give your pet a full basic health check and advise you if we feel there are concerns that need to be seen by your veterinarian.  

 

New for 2014 we are offering a range of SPA treatments and also Reiki healing sessions for your dog.  Again, using only top quality products we aim to help your pet relax, energise and heal, in a natural way.  Our certificated therapist has a number of years experience of working in this field with both animals and humans and we are excited to now be able to offer this opportunity to people living in our area.

 

These treatments will help the elderly, injured, infirm, convalescing, arthritic, hyperactive and nervous pets. For your free consultation to discuss a possible programme of treatment for your dog, please phone us on the number below.


Our aim is to offer a calm and pleasant experience to your pet when they visit us.  We know they are valued members of your family and we treat them with the same respect and love that they would receive at home. 

 

Our aim is to provide a quiet calm peaceful place for  your ‘best friend’ to be pampered.  Some dogs can become quite stressed about being groomed, we will not force any dog into a situation or treatment that he is not happy with.  Your pet will love coming to us to be pampered and fussed.  There are no cages or drying cabinets here, your dog has the free run of the salon, and will be taken out for regular breaks. If your dog is sociable with others then he can roam the garden and house. 

 

We take only one dog for grooming at a time, unless it is a number of dogs from the same family.  Your dog will receive undivided 1:1 attention whilst here.

 

All our customers receive free doggie treats.
